KIM PRUITT: Performance Coach + Speaker

Kim Pruitt is Founder and CEO of  License To Thrive, Inc, a firm dedicated to providing organizations with principles, products and  services that improve performance, teamwork and organizational culture through coaching, training and consulting. Kim developed The Champion Method program to build champions by equipping others with principles used to succeed in sports so they achieve success in business and life.

As a Hall of Fame Collegiate Volleyball player and Student-Athlete of the Year, Kim Pruitt is a sought after professional speaker & executive performance coach on how to maximize performance to achieve extraordinary results. She was Team Captain for Division 1 collegiate volleyball; named the Conference MVP; and selected for the Academic All-American team. Kim was a nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year. In 2007, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Kim quickly transitioned from stellar performance on the court to the medical sales industry in the areas of sales, training and leadership. Working for pharmaceutical giants like Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline, she championed high levels of achievement, performance and growth, not just for herself, but motivated others to reach greater success.

Described by hers peers as conscientious, energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated, Kim offers a rare blend of creative and operational strengths. She achieved exciting company and product turnarounds and is recognized for her success in growing sales and profits. Despite national declining markets, Kim continued to exceed her sales goals with projected yearly targets of several millions in sales. Kim is the recipient of several awards for her performance including President’s Club and Regional MVP.

Kim brings the true tale of what “living up to your potential” means by relating leadership lessons learned on the volleyball court. While Kim’s transparency engages the audience and draws people in; her tough stance on “no excuses” propels the attendees to take action. Kim’s star personality may shine bright but it is her authenticity that encourages and inspires others to trust their leadership abilities and perform at their greatest potential.

Kim recently was awarded the International Golden Rule Award naming her a Goodwill Ambassador for Human Rights and a Life of Honor award at the Gerald Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her dedication to leadership is demonstrated in her service with Palm Beach Leadership Council, as a trainer for La Red Business Network and Equip International, as a member of the Leadership Honor Society, along with having served on the Board for Impact Leadership Network.
